Guide to creating a Stripe account

To collect prepayments via credit card for your event, you'll need to create a Stripe account if you don't already have one. Creating an account only takes about five minutes, and after completing the registration form, you'll be immediately able to start collecting prepayments for your events.

During the registration process, there are a couple of questions that aren't immediately obvious how to answer, so we've prepared a guide to answering them below.

Compliance questions

Will your business handle your customers’ card numbers?

Will you or connected applications that are acting on your behalf (Connect Standard) use any kind of additional verification methods to determine your customers’ identity?

Will you or connected applications that are creating payments on your behalf (Connect Standard) require card security codes for every payment?
