Scanning Doorkeeper tickets
Doorkeeper tickets can be checked in by scanning them with a preregistered device. We recommend that any staff you have helping out with the event go through these instructions and practice scanning a ticket once before the event starts, with you confirming that they have correctly checked in the ticket using the Web Check-in interface.
Scanning Tickets with an iPhone
- Download the Doorkeeper iPhone app.
- From your event dashboard, navigate to the "Mobile Check-In" section of the "Check-in" tab.
- Open the Doorkeeper iPhone application and tap "Register your phone".
- You can now scan tickets by tapping "Scan Tickets". As you scan a ticket, the details of the participant being checked in are shown at the bottom. You can continually scan new tickets - there's no need to press the back button. However, when you're taking a pause from scanning, we recommend locking your phone as otherwise your battery will be quickly consumed.
