Adjusting the map for your event

On your public event page we display a map. The location the map points to is automatically generated by the venue name and venue address. Sometimes though, the location of your event can't properly be detected. If your map isn't showing up properly, here's some things to check:

• There isn't any extraneous information, such as the nearest train station, in the venue name or address field.
• You aren't using a placeholder, like "to be decided", in the venue name or address field.
• The formatting of the address matches that of when you search for the venue on Google Maps.

Alternatively, you can disable the display of the map altogether by editing your event and unchecking "Show a map on the event page".
